Platform Navigation

Once signed in, everything lives behind a single left-hand sidebar, grouped by how staff actually use it rather than how it’s implemented internally.

The command center

The first thing you see is Executive Pulse — a real-time cockpit: enrollment, daily attendance, term pass rate, fee recovery, faculty capacity, and enrollment trends, filterable by campus. This is the view built for a principal or executive admin checking on the school at a glance.

iSchool adapts this landing cockpit to the signed-in user’s role — a teacher’s landing cockpit emphasizes their own classes and gradebook, not school-wide fiscal data; an executive admin’s emphasizes finance and governance.

  • Core Platform — Executive Pulse, School Settings & Operations, Multi-Campus, Accreditation & Compliance, Onboarding Imports.
  • Academic & Scheduling — Exams & Gradebook, Admissions Pipeline, Student Roster, Attendance & Welfare, Discipline & Pastoral, Communications Hub.
  • Further sections cover Finance, HR & Payroll, Learning (LMS), Transport & Hostel, Library, Inventory & Clinic, and Analytics.

Every module is permission-gated — a user only sees and can act on what their role grants, enforced server-side (not just hidden in the UI).

Ask iSchool AI

A persistent assistant, reachable from the sidebar on every page, that answers natural-language questions by querying the school’s own live data — “which students owe fees this term,” “what’s our attendance trend this month” — and can draft (never auto-send) communications. See the AI Assistant feature page for what it can and can’t do.

iSchool’s AI features never silently compute a final number or make a decision on your behalf (grades, fee amounts, promotion decisions). They draft, extract and suggest — a human always reviews and approves before anything is committed.

Multi-campus and roles

A single organization can run multiple campuses under one login. Role assignment (Administrator, Teacher, Bursar, etc.) is scoped per-campus, so a single person can hold different roles at different campuses within the same school group.
